Youth N2 Fitness, Inc. is a 501 c3 non-profit organization that focuses on enhancing children's physical and nutritional habits in creative ways that unite fun and exercise in a meaningful manner. The mission of our corporation is to provide a comprehensive exercise and nutritional program which will enhance self-esteem, confidence, and a healthy lifestyle for today's youth. Since the establishment of our organization in January of 2006, YouthN2Fitness main objective has been to reduce the high percentage of childhood obesity, while actively helping to prevent obesity as a whole. Our programs focus on teaching children endurance, flexibility, agility, and hand-eye coordination through activities that incorporate Kinesthetic training, exercise, sports, dance and yoga.

The organization includes a nutritional program to monitor and evaluate the youth's eating habits thus promoting a healthier way of living. At Youth N2 Fitness, our motto is “Keeping Kids fit, Inch by Inch”. Because we believe that today’s youth, is tomorrow’s future and without good healthy habits, coupled with physical activity, those futures could be in grave danger.

Over 9 million children 6-19 years of age are either overweight or obese. The contributing factors are directly related to fast food, fried food and the way meals are being prepared in the home, and most importantly, their lack of exercise. Moderate physical activity of 30-90 minutes is a daily requirement, but is often neglected because of technological trends. These trends have taken over society and time that should be allocated to physical activity, are dedicated to video games, television, cell phones, internet, etc and 43% of those adolescents watch more than 2 hours of television per day. Thus, continuing to crown obesity king of contributing to childhood deaths.

Your nutritional intake is 80% of a successful weight loss/gain plan!
Whether you want to lose weight or gain weight, your food intake is 80% of your plan and working out is only 20%. Yes, you must workout and participate in more physical, vigorous activities and this is so important that you do so 4-5 days per week. Exercise should become part of your daily lifestyle just as your job. But all this means nothing if your nutrition is not good. If you are eating foods high in sugars, saturated fats, corn syrup then your nutritional intake is not healthy, especially if you want to lose weight. Your diet should consist of foods high in vegetables, fruits, and proteins. I know this is something that we do not want to hear, but this is the reason you're not satisfied with your results! Educate yourself on ways to increase your child's fitness level!
Lets face it, our children are only going to participate in physical activities if they are good at doing them. It is up to us, as adults, to teach them as many activities as we can just to get them to become more active in their lives. That's why YouthN2Fitness has developed fund raising boot camps that can help educate you how to properly take care of your health while you take the proper steps into incorporating physical activities for your children. You will learn healthy meals to prepare for yourself and children, fun physical activities that children will not detect as exercise, and also ways to measure the effect to how healthy your family has become. Please discuss some concerns that you may have with developing a healthier lifestyle with your family.
